Our Team

provider types

At our organization, we offer a diverse range of mental health support through various types of providers, each bringing their unique skills and expertise to help individuals on their journey toward wellness.

Peer Support Specialists are individuals with lived experience of mental health challenges who provide empathetic support and guidance. They share their personal stories to create a sense of understanding and help clients feel less isolated. Peer support specialists are vital in offering hope, practical advice, and a safe space for individuals to discuss their challenges.
Agency-Affiliated Counselors are experienced mental health professionals who may be affiliated with our organization but are not always fully licensed. They provide counseling and support under the supervision of a licensed clinician, often offering services similar to those provided by fully licensed providers. Agency-affiliated counselors are valuable in offering affordable therapy and support to those who may not yet have access to a licensed professional.
Licensed Mental Health Professionals, such as licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs), licensed professional counselors (LPCs), and licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFTs), bring advanced training and therapeutic skills to address a wide range of mental health concerns. They offer in-depth therapy and counseling for individuals, couples, and families dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship struggles. These professionals are equipped to provide evidence-based treatments like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners, who specialize in mental health, diagnose mental health disorders and can prescribe medications. They work closely with patients to manage symptoms through medication management, helping to address conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.

Each type of provider plays a crucial role in delivering holistic care, offering varying levels of support to meet the specific needs of individuals, from peer-based encouragement to medically-based treatment. Together, they ensure a comprehensive approach to mental health, empowering clients to heal, grow, and thrive.
